Shopping can be fun. It can also be a big pain in the neck. And feet. And pocket book. If you can’t find exactly what you’re looking for, hours and even days can be wasted, never mind gas and chunks of sanity. And the longer it takes to find what we are looking for, the worse it gets.
It doesn’t have to be like that though. If you can’t find what you need in the nearest mall, resort to online shopping for the best results and terrific deals. Even if your lovely sister is demanding a double stroller for her twins, and some very unique baby bath towels, have no fear. No matter how fussy she is, you should have luck online.
No need to search store by store; just type in what you’re looking for and you might be lucky enough to be directed to sites that do some price checking for you, or even to sites that offer used items for sale.
Don’t be afraid to look at ‘pre-owned’ products either. After all, what’s going to happen to a stroller after the kids are too big for it? It either ends up collecting dust in the garage, maybe it goes to charity, or it gets sold to another family who needs the same thing.
If you can’t find anything there, look at some used items. After all, what happens to baby items after they aren’t needed any more? Usually they end up being given away or they are left in the attic to collect cob webs. Considering how much some of these things cost, especially strollers, savvy moms will sell quality items online. Other smart moms will look for them – it’s win win all around!
As for the towels for her new twins, this might be a problem if she can’t be flexible. Ask her for details as to why she is asking for a particular brand. She might have a good reason, but if no one can find them, she’s going to have to give you some options, especially if you can’t find them online or on an overstock site.
You might even be able to find some great deals on your nephew’s new gaming system. A Nintendo ps3 is a great choice; prices have come way down over the past few years, and just about all stores carry them.
