Free War Games, Leaving No Prisoners On The Battleground

As we all know there are many niches around the Net. Lately I ‘ve seen a genre that we all know and cherish, but yet never really dig in too- War games. War games are everything that includes action, shooting, strategy, RPG and even Zombie killing games, all of those genres can be categorized under war games category.

We may suggest that war games are the inverted replicas of the old timer shooting and fight games. The differences would be that except that the battle location is usually part of a big conflict going on, it can be war against zombies, against humen warriors or any creature your imagination can think of. The main goal in those games is not finding clues or friends, it’s usually (except the complex strategy games) is to kill anything on sight.

While the grown up crowd usually prefer tower defense and complex war games, the younger crowd usually relates better to the easy action games, sniper games and even zombie games. Either way, both young and old can relate to war games as they offer lots of content and niches to entertain.

Even though war games can draw all ages, it’s a known fact that men players prefer this genre a lot more then the female section, that usually prefer more relaxed gaming without war and blood.

So, whether it’s a present war zone, futuristic scene or even a remote planet, they all have the same linkage- war games battle grounds. It’s up to you choosing your preferred one from the available niches. I personally prefer the RPG games and sniper titles, as the first one engages character build up and long game play, the other one offers a pure shooting fun, with an emphasis on patience and logic problem solving , as many of the challenges require patience and a logical brain.

War games are becoming one of the intriguing categories on the online games industry, awarding gamers the chance to practice vast war or playing the role of an exotic assassin in a sniper game, it doesn’t really matter what you prefer, cause war games can and will deliver it.

Online Gaming – Are Free Or Paid Games Best?

December 29, 2009 · Filed Under Gaming · Comment

There are two types of online games – free ones and paid ones. Free online games are referred to as F2P and paid online games are referred to as P2P. The debate that is going on between players and followers of these two types of games often stem from which type of game is best and which one gives you more chances of building a strong character based on hard work or based on your having money.

There are good arguments for either side of the debate and, probably, there will never come a time when everyone agrees. If you’re an online gamer yourself, then you may well already have formed your opinions on the matter, but it’s still worth reviewing the points for and against both P2P and F2P.

When you have a pay to play game, you will need to pay a monthly fee to allow you to log in and play. The usual argument with this is that in a pay to play environment, your subscription may run out without your using it if you play due to busy schedules and such, while free to play games that you can register and play on for free are there for you to visit anytime you want without the overhead monthly cost of membership.

It should be noted though that F2P games are not as free as you might assume they would be. Yes, you can play them without setting up a monthly subscription, but, if you want to make real progress on them, you will probably need to strengthen your character and get specific items for them. This may be achievable through hard work, but, in many cases, the only way to improve or upgrade is to pay. As for P2P games, you will find that weapons, armors and accessories that you need to become stronger can be had in-game without the need to buy them with real cash from an online shop.

The number of players involved in a game is the other major factor to take into consideration as, generally, the more players, the better the gaming experience as there is more action and interactions with others. F2P games tend to attract more players, though there are some exceptions, and you would therefore assume that F2P games win on this issue. However, the ‘quality’ of players is generally better on P2P; they are more involved and more knowledgeable. Therefore, for those gamers who wish to build armies and form alliances, P2P games are better, as the other players will be online more and will be more reliable.
